1. Beach hopping
Beach lovers around the globe go to Benidorm to visit the region's well-known beaches. And each beach has its own signature character. Visit them all cost-free or with a bit of cost. Stroll down beaches with talcum-like sand, beach locations bordered by high limestone cliffs, shores that are hidden in concealed nooks, and beaches that precede Benidorm's skyline. Whatever beach you wind up in, you're sure to enjoy the warm Mediterranean weather and the cool, sparkling Mediterranean waters.
2. Dinghy sailing
When you were a youngster, you would probably have fantasized of sailing the Seven Seas just like Captain Nemo did. In Benidorm, you'll be able to live that dream (at a much smaller scale, naturally) with ease, safety, and pleasure. You can head out to the Benidorm Sailing Club and rent a dinghy. Made as a one- to three-person sailing boat, a dinghy is designed for pleasure sailing. Sail across the coastline of Benidorm and see the land in the eyes of a sailor. The mild conditions make Benidorm a great for leisure sailing.
3. Water skiing
Let’s raise the level of adrenaline a bit by water skiing. Strap yourself on some skis, grab on to the holds, and rip through the waves as a speedboat, jetski, or cable-ski installation pulls you. Water skiing is really a fun sport. The gentle climate and sea and wind conditions make Benidorm the best place for water skiing.
4. Diving
Benidorm boasts of some of the world’s most beautiful underwater landscapes. Be a first-hand witness of the marvels of the underwater universe through diving. Witness colorful fish, huge turtles, expanses of coral reef gardens, vibrant sea anemones, along with marine delights that will definitely take your breath away. Ideal weather and sea conditions make Benidorm a wonderful haven for scuba divers all over the world.
5. Jet skis
Make the sea your own personal dra strip! Lease a jet ski, start the ignition, and carve your way on the waves. Go to Levante Beach; there's a specially created course there for jet skis. The shape of Benidorm's coastline acts like a natural breakwater which protects the course from powerful currents and strong winds, assuring you a safe, smooth ride. So, skim over the waters, zip beside limestone cliffs, and be amazed by the view of Benidorm’s coast.

Algarve? Make Your Family Vacation a Perfect One
Are you planning to take your entire family for a vacation? Have you ever considered going on family holidays to Algarve 2013? Algarve is a beautiful region at the southernmost part of mainland Portugal. It boasts of its warm sunny weather, golden shores, turquoise waters and its amazing landscapes as it is part of the Mediterranean. It is a very popular travel destinations due to these factors in addition to a high level of safety, various cuisine, world-class tourist facilities, and somewhat low costs. Tourism is what makes Algarve thrive. Year after year, about seven million guests tour Algarve. And that number is still increasing.
Algarve is a family-friendly tourist destination. That's because there are a lot of places and activities that families can definitely enjoy.
1. Pego de Inferno is a magnificent natural waterfall that feeds an olive green lake. In the past, it is a secret hideaway, but today, it has become a popular haunt for visitors thanks to the efforts of the locals to advertise their treasure. But why exactly was it kept a secret for so long? Well, it is situated at the bottom of a small valley, which means it can only be seen if one walks to it. Accessing the rolling trail may not be such an easy feat for children, but most kids are overly excited walking to it.
2. Ria Formosa Natural Park is a protected area that is surrounded by seven islands. In this park, you can walk around pine forests and tropical islands in very short distances. Pink flamingoes are even in abundance in the area. Beaches nestled inside the protected area are gems your children will surely love. Best of all, they can learn and appreciate the gift and beauty of nature in the park's environmental education center.
3. My family's favorite in Algarve is the Zoomarine. It is a large activity park that focuses on aquatic animals. A dolphin show is something that you definitely don't want to miss out on. The park also has other facilities such as education centers that feature ecological themes, a 4D cinema that features ecological issues, and a rehabilitation center for marine species. During hot days, kids can take a dip at a pool area or, for more fun, ride on an old-style carousel.
4. Waterparks are "native" to Algarve. That is not surprising at all, as Algarve is fronting the ocean. There are four waterparks that I recommend: Splash and Slide, Aqualand, Atlantic Park, and Aquashow. All are child-friendly, and they offer a plethora of rides, fun, and activities that will keep kids amused. Quad bikes are being offered at the parks, or your children can have a field day at the water slides or bounce their day away on the trampolines or beat the summer heat in the mini jacuzzis. The waterparks bring out the child in everyone who are there.
5. Algarve is well known for its beautiful beaches with fine, clean, pristine sand. You must not miss the beaches. Your family will surely love swimming in the cool water, make sand castles, or observe sea creatures scurry around. If you are more adventurous of if you want a beach for yourself, head out to more remote areas. There you can see magnificent cliffs and hidden coves, and you'll have the beach for yourself.
